Would you save money manually flushing?

I have an automatic flush, but i can manually flush it, will this save me money or does it not matter?

  1. flushing takes quite a lot of litres of water. maybe get a low or dual flush.


  2. You want to save water each time you are flushing: here is a very simple and cheap way: put a brick in the flush box. Each time you flush you will save an amount of water equal to the volume of the brick.

  3. the consumer cost of most public water systems is based on estimates of use or a flat fee, not on actual individual use, so no, it won't save you any money.

    What's more important is water conservation, so i suggest flushing only when necessary...if it's yellow, let it mellow, if it's brown, flush it down!

  4. Each time you flush, weather automatically or manually, the same amount of water is used.
