or husbands would you have your wife sell her body if you had no money no1 to borrow from and no line of credit.. all the bills and mortgage was due and you had no food left to feed the children.. would you do it to feed and house your children?

I'd find a way to feed and shelter the kids - no need for mama to peddle her wares...

Even though there are better ways, but honestly, I would do anything to make sure my kids were taken care of.  Not a popular choice, but the truth.

Most of these women are lying. They never been in that situation, so they say they wouldn't. But believe, when the kids start crying from hunger, men rob and kill, women w***e and steal. Unpleasant facts of life!!!

to midnight moon who posted the song lyrics - you're misreading the meaning behind that song... what the black eyed peas are trying to say is that there is always another way... let go of your excuses of why you're doing what you're doing, let go of the fact that your dad raped you, let go of the fact that your baby's dad is a loser and stop trying to justify why you're in such a pityful place.... the line says, "girl, i know if my mother can do it, baby you can do it..." is saying, 'my mom was a single mom down on her luck, but she didnt resort to prostitution and feeling bad for herself because of her situation... she accepted what life had given her and did what she had to do, with grace and charisma and her god given brain...'

I hardly never hear any one over here in the states do that, but overseas [3rd world countries] lots of husbands make lots of profits with their own wives, because they go thru extreme hard times more than here in the USA.  I personally think that a woman or wife would absolutely have to be super crazy to do this here in the states.

Absolutely not. There's always another way.

To the people who are criticizing those of us saying no - I HAVE been there, and although it isn't easy, I would much rather have a low paying, S****y job than sell myself. I would never want my children to know that I had done something so low, and in turn think that's the way to do it.

To the person who posted that song - I've heard it many times, and I do understand why someone would go that route. I'm simply saying it wouldn't be me, is all.

All around, you're asking for our opinions, and this is mine. Just because someone else feels differently about it, does not make me wrong.
