Question

A friend of mine is putting $500 on tonight's game. The Pens have to win by 2 goals or more. If the Flyers win or lose by 1 goal he loses his $500. Smart deal? I think it's a tough spread to cover considering it's game 4 in philly.

I would say that is a pretty safe bet, but you never know. Phili could come out and give them h**l to avoid elimination, just like Dallas did to Detroit yesterday.

I have to agree with Shock and Awe. Hockey is a bad bet. Even the best teams have bad nights. Look at Detroit last night. They had all the calls go against them, and they came out a little flat.

When you start putting up big money on hockey, your always taking a risk.  If you lose, your down 500 dollars, and if you win, you'll gain confidence, and make bets for more money, which eventually you will lose.  I would stay out of it.

I would probably do it, the penguins will probably win by at least 2 goals. I think its smart, well kinda. i would just be so mad if i lost 500 bucks like that but i would be happy to win it all back.

First off take off two of those zeros. And to answer your question, Philly is up 2-0 already and it looks like they aren't going to give up anytime soon, so I would never take that bet.
