Would you take this deal?

I give up Brandon Phillips for Kaz Matsui, Oliver Perez, and Chris Volstad. It's an NL-only Roto league. I'm suffering thorugh a miserable pitching season, but I just landed Sabathia to help out.

I'm not a fan of giving up one good player for multiple mediocre players....Plus, it's likely you will have too many players on your roster and will need to drop some to make room. Do you really have that many poor people on your team to drop to make room for these guys?

Hmm I don't know about this one. Phillips is a great 2nd Baseman and the 3 players you would be getting for him all suck. I would try to find better Pitchers to acquire than Perez and Volstad. Also, Matsui is majorly underachieving this year, and would be a terrible downgrade from Brandon Phillips at Second Base. I wouldn't do it.

Possibly.  Just not sure about Volstad.  Recommend you reconsider.

I would avoid this trade, You have CC now. He is going to be great with the Brew Crew. Phillips has 30-30 power and speed, so stick with him

If you are having a miserable season it might be worth gambling on this trade. What do you have to lose?

Matsui will get you some steals. Perez and Sabathia should get you some Ks and some Ws. I don't know a ton about Volstad.

If what you had before isn't working then it's time to try something different. So why not.
