Wrong password for SQL*PLUS

why if when i insert a wrong password for log in to SQL*PLUS the database still connected

  1. Your question is not clear but il answer as interpret. Ok i use MySQl for my private servers and if you type in the wrong password it doesnt work. However if u type in a wrong password and it works then your good to go right?


  2. No you cant get proper Query window unless and until you type right password n user id(Scott/tiger) else it will give you illusion as if you have logged in though you haven't.
