  1. AT A STORE!!!!

  2. i do not know..the apples from my country seem natural and you salivate..while apples brought in summer from other countris..look and taste unnatural..like plums peaches except oranges kiwi..and what belongs to those area..other area maybe they are conservated....

  3. http://www.bighorsecreekfarm.com/descrip... is a place that'll do you a custom graft... the problem is that it's a very rare cultivar, so one may not be available for immediate delivery.

You might also want to see if there's budwood available through groups like Home Orchard Society or similar, if you don't mind doing your own grafting.

  4. online

  5. try Willhite seed company.com in Poolville Texas.

  6. You can buy apple trees at most any plant nursery!  Look them up in your local phonebook or google nursery and your zipcode!

Apple trees are a very common tree because they provide shade, they are easy to grow, and provide tasty fruit!

  7. Check Stark Bros in Lousiana, Missouri.  Their trees are more expensive than Wal Mart jobs but are very husky, top quality trees.  Absolutely the best I've ever planted.

  8. Any well stocked nursery will have some and it really is better to see what you are buying and research the variety offered. Some have more problems than others. Generally what you find available will be correct varieties given your location, but talk to the staff, and DO maintain your receipt and warranty as they will cost a bit and you don't want to throw your $$$ away. Also, research! Do you want dwarf, semi's, or full size. Dwarfs generally produce earliest but are short lived comparatively. Mixing them gives early production to be replaced by a longer lived tree, especially in orchards, the dwarfs being culled out as the full size trees mature. Lots to consider, and don't discard the idea of on line purchases if you have a good quality supply (Stark Bros. as mentioned above). Stay away from the No Names Big Deals!

  9. when baying an apple tree make you know how old they are and how long you want to what before you get apples trees are about 6 years old before you get apples from them so to get a good size apple the wold have to be about 8 to 10 years old. i planted my trees from seed it was fun to see them grow they are 6 years old now and just now biding for the first time very exiting. hahaha.

  10. Yankee Sweet - Once a very popular in certain areas of Virginia, it is now a very rare variety. Described as excellent for making apple preserves and marmalade. Fruit is medium-sized and slightly flattened on the ends with light green or yellow skin. The fine-grained yellowish flesh is moderately crisp, juicy and sweet. Ripens August to September.

I found this posting on a web site called Big Horse Creek Farm. They may be able to help you. It is a very old variety and very hard to find. If you can't find one to buy, you might find one that you can get a cutting from and graft your own.
