X-Box 360 or PS3????

Question

I don't know what's better since I'm buying a new system.

my opinion, the Xbox 360 Elite.

the majority of games released on both platforms normally have better ratings on the 360 vs PS3. a major reason i prefer the 360 too is due to "achievements". it gives the games and gaming a sense of meaning and can also be quite addictive. i also believe the Xbox Live community is a lot bigger and active versus the PS network. at one time, i did consider the PS3 for its Blu-Ray, Metal Gear Solid and Resistance but in the end, i think i'm much happier with my 360.

for online, you only need a subscription, Cat5e cable or wireless xbox network adapter. headsets are always nice and help with in-game communication but are not required to get online.

360 is my personal favorite, but it is up to everyone.

If you want to wait, then the PS3 will be great, but if you want to go online easier and for a small price, w/ a large quantity of games, the 360 is the way to go.

Also there is no Halo 3 for the ps3

Whatever you do, don't get advice from fanboys of either. In my personal opinion i like them both, but they both have different things good about them. If your looking for games i would go for the 360, Microsoft is a ****** company and hold all the games to themselves (they don't sell them to playstation), but playstation sell there games to microsoft so microsoft have nearly all the same games that playstation has but playstation doesnt have the games xbox has. Blueray is better quality than HD but it also depends on the games your playing because neither use it to its full capacity, playstation games are more expensive because of blueray. Xbox 360 has Gears of War 1 + 2 and halo 3, Playstation has mgs4 and killzone. playstations online doesnt cost anything, xboxs does (even though you can get it for free. I personally like xbox a tiny bit better but it depends wht you want it for.....graphics - playstation....games - 360, online - playstation

it all depends on what type of games you like, personally i believe PS3 is built for Sports games.  they have several more then xbox like with MLB 08 the Show or NBA Life vol 3 where as xbox has the usual madden and NBA Live

xbox is more of a Shooter, RPG, and Action system because they have far more of those games that are way better then ps3's system like GEARS OF WAR, and Oblivion

for online uses, the PS3 has built in Wireless and online is Free

Xbox 360 you'd need to buy a wireless adapter or just plug in internet and a year of xbox live is $50
