X-Files Episode? Winged Demon?

I am looking for an episode of the X-Files that featured a winged demon. I can't pin-point it but I am sure it was on one of the later seasons when Mulder had actually left. Anyone know which I am talking about?

There is an episode in Season Eight, after Mulder was abducted by aliens, called "Patience" It features a "human bat". Is that the winged demon you are referring to? It is the only one in the last two seasons, after Mulder left, that has a winged creature in it. Scully is on the case with Doggett, the agent assigned to assist Scully in finding Mulder.
