XBOX360 hookin up to PC.?

Question

I want to hook my 360 up to my monitor, i was woundering if i buy a hdmi video card and put it in my pc and hook my 360 up to my PC (not my monitor) Via VGA cables, and hook up the HDMI will i get my 360 in HDMI that way ? or is my only option to hook it up via the monitor, i have 2 vga outputs on my monitor one is in use obviously and the other is where ill plug in the 360 vga cable. am i doing this right ?

yea but if you never played you have to join and if you did check over becuae you might of not push hard enough
