XD-Picture Card - IMPORTANT!!!?

I just got a camera, and I really need to use it...however....it says "Card Error" when I go to Format it....I was reading the instructions and they briefly talked about registering it....how do I register it? I just don't understand what to do...anyone help.please?!

go to the manufacture site

Card error has nothing to do with registration it means your card is corrupted or some other fault usually caused by formatting the card on the computer. Always format the card in camera, there are files the camera puts onto the card it needs to communicate with it.

you might try going to the manufacturer's website, or looking for a phone number to call in the paperwork that came with camera, intructions and stuff.
