Xbox 360 Controller?

Hey guys. I just modded my xbox 360 controller with the chrome plating and the red LEDS (looks frikin sweet), but now the controller does not get as much signal strength...anyone have any ideas of solving this? (I can open the controller and repair it manually if I have too...

  1. It is probably  the chrome plating interfering with the wireless connection. If you know where the signal reciever/sender is (idk what it is called) try to put it in a place where there would be less chrome in between it and the xbox.
