Im just wondering about a xbox360 elite

why is it that thet hard drive stars with 103gb and not 120gb?

I worked at GameStop for a long time and over the past couple years I have gotten asked this question so many times (for both the Elite and Premium editions). The reason the there is less than what was expected is because Microsoft loads up a bunch of material onto the hard drive before it is shipped out. If you go the the music player on there you will notice there are many different songs and artists already loaded onto it. There are also a bunch of videos and demo's preloaded and of course the Hexic arcade game. If you want you can delete everything off there and get most of that lost 17GB's back.
