Xbox 360 Hardware Failure?

I was play my xbox 360 when it went really fuzzy. So i turned it off and plugged it back in. Now it won't show any thing. I unplugged both the xbox input and the tv input and blow on them. I plugged it back in and now its still black i can here the xbox running and the option sounds of it scrolling but, still it wont transmit so please help?

  1. Get rid of that garbage and buy a PS3.

    .. try disconnecting everything, turn TV off. Reconnect everything, then turn it on. If it still doesn't work I recommend calling Microsoft.

This happened to a friend of mine, apparently it isn't very difficult for your cords to get fried.  My advice would be to borrow a friends cords and use them to plug in your xbox.  If swapping out the cords doesnt work then it is an internal problem and you will have to send it off to Microsoft.  If the cords fix the problem then you will just have to go buy another set of cords from the store and you should be set, but if not then you'll want to call 1-800-4MY-XBOX, that is the customer support line, they will mail you a box to mail them your Xbox in and it should be back to you within about a month.
