Xbox 360 and LCD HDTV?

i have a 26" Sharp LCD TV with HD.jusy want know if there are consequences to hooking up my 360 to this TV. i.e: i heard it can burn the picture into the tv.i dont wanna break the tv if i hook it up so give me ideas or tell me if its ok

  1. ummm  I never heard of that   I have two 360's hooked up to two different LCD tvs and one hooked up to a standard tv for about 2 years now and nothing ever messed up the tv

    and of all my friends who have 360 (a lot of people) none of them had that problem


  2. burn in typically happens when the same picture is left on the screen for an extended amount of time... playing your 360 wouldn't cause burn in...unless u paused the game and left for a week...even then the 360 may go into some kind of screen saver mode.  My PS3 does so 360 should have something similar.

    Short answer...don't worry and enjoy playing in HD.

  3. Sharp only makes LCD TV's.  Image retention (burn in) does NOT happen on LCD's.  Burn in is a problem of plasma tvs.

    Play all the games you want.
