  1. I'm a bit confused by your question, are you asking can you install XP over Vista, to put XP on the computer. It's not as simple as it sounds and wihout an XP cd, that is not in use by any other computer, you wont be able to do it for several reason. But even if you do have the CD, you still may not be able to do it. Since most comptuers that came with Vista already installed are not compatible with any of the XP drivers, meaning if your formated the hard drive to clean out Vista and install XP onto the computer, certain things such as you cd/dvd drive, your sound or other things may not longer work, as their drivers do not support xp.

And you wont be able to install XP over Vista, because Vista is newer and microsoft prevents you from install an older version over a new, unless the hard drive is formated.

So if you want XP on the computer you will need to find out if your computer will support all of it's drivers. And just so you are aware if you do install XP onto the computer, this could void your computers warranity, so be sure to check that out first.

  2. vista doesn't use bios to boot from hard drive. it has a newer technology of booting; if you will install XP over vista it will overite vista's boot loader and then you will have only a XP operation system. anyway if you have done this you might have a chance to rewrite the vista bootloader with "vistabootpro" - google it

  3. there is no way to install xp without the xp install disc. you can download it from a torrent site like http://www.thepiratebay.com. then you will have to format the drive, removing all data, to install xp. you can get keygens for xp activation from torrents as well. it is illegal  but who cares. you cant get caught.

  4. Yes, but make sure that u install XP first and then Vista, otherwise it wont work. Vista does not see the XP partition.

    Good Luck
