YAHOO ANSWERS... answers?

Question

why is it that when responding to a question.. you give an honest and legitimate answer, without breaking any rules or guidelines.. without intentionally offending people.. offering an opinion.....

..... that people who disagree with your opinion feel obliged to report your answer under a breach of guidelines...???

and then.... when you ask yahoo to specify what terms/guidlines/conditions have been breached they either send you a standard unexplanatory email or do not respond at all???

if an answer breaches guidelines.. fine, report it.

if you just don't like the answer.. live with it.. everyone is entitled to answer with an opinion.

why report legitimate answers because they simply conflict with your own personal views???

If you haven't broken any rules - you haven't been insulting - you've actually answered the question that was asked sans sarcasm - and you haven't answered just to get points, then there must be even more rules.  Every violation I've gotten pinpointed the infraction.  If you still feel it's unjust, post your question/feelings on the forum - not here - THE forum.  don't be surprised to see hundreds of others posting the same question though - it's a bit redundant.

That is a very good question, and i agree with you. If people don't like what you say and your answer is within the guidelines, don't even worry about it. It's not even their problem so why should they care.
