does yahoo answers get addicted??

Addictions fill a genuine need that the person has. However, this need is usually falsely or artificially fulfilled by replacing what is truly needed with a substitute. That is, eating may replace the need for emotional attachment that a person is not otherwise receiving.

Some people are here to genuinely answer questions (a need). Some are here to be "funny" (a need). Some are here to waste time (a need). Some are here to connect with others (a need) and some are here to "prove" that they are good at something (another need) by being top contributors.

yes I think yahoo answers can get very addictive because there are a lot of problems in the world and everyone always has fun trying to answer them. Its also fin to read what people have to say, and if its funny everyone has a good laugh & if its serious it may lead to further feedback.

It is pretty easy to see that some people are addicted to it (look how many posts some of the top contributors have!)

Personally I don't think about Yahoo! Answers most of the time, but every once in awhile I will check it out for a half hour or so when the thought pops into my head.
