Ok this is the deal. I have the unlimited account for yahoo music (the older jukebox upgraded to the new yahoo one) last week i had to have my computer repaired, so now i am trying to tweek it back to the way I like it.. I have never had a problem installing the player (home or work) especially if the computer is new (this one a year old--revamped to new last week). But i have tried diabling my firewall, stopping all programs running, closing all windows and other programs except the download page and still the most i get out of the download is that the player downloads, but when it goes to install it stops anywhere between 15-80% stating it didnt install and may be due to other running programs, try again after restarting the computer.. guess what ??? 10 restarts later and i still cant get the da** thing to install. have deleted temp files etc... anyone have any ideas? havent heard back from yahoo customer service..

thanx

Jen

  2. Hi Jen,

Yahoo hasn't been answering their emails but they do have some customer support people on their on their "Yahoo! Music Jukebox and Yahoo! Music Unlimited Feedback" Forum. You can post your problem there and you will have a better chance of someone answering you. The link is http://mb.music.yahoo.com/music/Support/... . If you haven't used the Yahoo jukebox though I'd read what others are saying about it though before downloading it. There are alot of technical issues with it as well as half of the featuers are missing compared to the MusicMatch program. I would consider reading the posts 1st. Many have opted to not use the program, including myself. I had my MusicMatch library sorted by "Genre" and YMJ went into the properties of all of my 3,500 songs and changed the genres in all of them and tagging and super tagging are not in the program like MusicMatch had so you have to manually go into each song to change them back to the genre you want. I hope I was some help to you hun and good luck.
