  1. No guarantees. Make sure via Windows Update that you have all Microsoft maintenance applied.  YMJ uses the Microsoft installer and my guess is that you still show Yahoo Music Jukebox in add or remove programs.  If so then download the Windows Installer Clean up utility:

    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301

    Create a system restore point.

Run the utility and remove YMJ.

Delete the folder (use Windows Explorer) \program files\Yahoo!\Yahoo! Music Jukebox

    Delete the folder \Documents and Settings\youraccountname\local settings\Application Data\Yahoo\YMP

    Delete the folder \Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Yahoo

Under Windows Explorer goto \Windows\ and click the folder Downloaded Installations

Hover the mouse over the entries in the right pane and delete the files with the description Yahoo! Music Jukebox.msi

The next step is to cleanup the system registry.  Use the Microsoft One Care cleanup utility (click the broom icon):

Now try re-installing YMJ.  Basically what you are doing is a manual uninstall of YMJ so that you can re-install YMJ.  If you are not familiar with doing the above operations, then your easiest approach may be to rebuild your system with a clean (vs repair) install.  Good luck.
