Is yahoo safe???

for example: is this safe?

Safe from what?

You will not get hit by a speeding train if you are using yahoo at home.

You will not get a bad haircut by using yahoo.

You MAY get a ton of spam if your yahoo email address is matched to your id..  

You MAY get a virus if you click on one of the ads or links that often appear if you have a personal page.  

You may meet some strange people (or not).

You WILL have your information tracked.  (read the yahoo terms of service.. they track your info and share some of it).

So.. it all depends on what you call 'safe'.
