the bench without shaking either Giroud or Blanc’s hand.
Many people thought that M’Vila was angry at being substituted.

either Giroud or Blanc.
M’Vila says that he hurried to the bench only because he did not want to waste precious time in formalities.
“I wanted Olivier to go to the field faster, avoid wasting time. I also went to Olivier to shake his hands and explain after the game. And this morning, I also went to talk to the coach. We could not talk last night because he had to go to the press conference
but I knew he could not understand it either. So I told him that I had absolutely nothing against him, it was just to avoid wasting time.”
At least, Yann M’Vila had the decency and the right sportsman spirit to go and clear things up to the general public unlike a particular teammate who chose to have a go at journalist rather than being dignified in defeat.
