Yellow belly turtle.. hes scared?

i just bought another another baby turtle yesterday, now i have 2 in the tank i put him in hes really scared he keeps swimming all night.. he jsut wont go to bask, he goes up for air at times, but still he doesnt go to bask

That's perfectly normal. He will bask when he feels more secure in his tank.

If he is a baby then he might not realize that there is a deck at the top of the water to bask on. put your hand in there and try to guide him toward the deck. once he is up there slowly back away so as not to scare him back into the water. Give him a little time, this is a new home for him, maybe he is just explorering!!!
