Yellow dog 6! ps3! internet! HELP!!!?

i have downloaded and installed yellow dog six

but i am clueless as to how to connect to the internet, wireless or through an ethernet connection. i would be extremely grateful for a step by step breakdown. im using a linksys wireless router connected through my speedstream dsl modem. help pleaseeee!!!
