I've asked questions like this in the past and I hated the feeling of "not knowing where to start", so I'll try to be more descriptive for you :)

My favorite song is called "Your Ex-Lover is Dead", by Stars--

Hahaha TRUST ME, it's a lot more optimistic than you think; it has a beautiful melodramatic tune to it, along with an orchestrated feel. Never have I heard such a beautiful duet sung so smoothly and well with it's instrumental, and it really just leaves you tantalized, relaxed and hopeful.

If you like what you hear I highly suggest checking out both of their latest albums, "Set Yourself on Fire" and "In Our Bedrooms After the War"; they definitely make you think and wonder about the world, especially in ways you haven't done before.
