  1. She's okay, not as exciting as Prince William, but not as bad as her son, Prince Charles.

  2. Not in Queen Elizabeth's lifetime. The queen herself has lead a totally blameless, hardworking and dedicated life - her family, on the other hand...

If there is a secession from the Commonwealth, it will be after the queen dies.

    I'm an American, BTW.

  3. You guys act like she wanted this position.  She was born into and forced to be head of state whether she wanted the crown or not.  It's not like she spent millions of pounds to get her position.  I'm sure it's a role she would love to get out of at times.  I would hate living my life in a fishbowl.  You can't win in her situation. Give her a break...

  4. It might help if you tell us what country you live in.  I hardly think you live in England as this would never happen, but if you live in Australia it might.

  5. NO!  Why would you do that?!  She has dedicated her life to everyone in the UK and it seems like all she gets is crapped on for her efforts!  It would be so much easier for her to step down and let her son take over but she made an oath and she is a woman of her word!

  6. No! She is all right.

    :)

  7. I am Australian, and live here .. but to my mind I am Australian born and proud to be British and Long live the Queen and her descendants they protect us from Murdoch and his spawn

  8. Not needed. we proved that to king george the III in 1776. And the U.S.A. is doing just fine.

  9. I like the Queen. She is graceful and wise. I just hope that William will be just as benevolent.

  10. My opinion on the queen is [censored].

Yes, we (England) should become a republic. This would save money (tax that which is not taxed*, death duties, open the royal places to increase tourist revenue, etc etc etc).

[Please do not quote that the some of  the royal estates pay taxes, if they were commercial concerns the tax would be much more - and Charles pays a 'voluntary' tax on a minute part of his revenue and at the lowest tax band rate.]
