What is the unique way to celebrate new year

I am not sure if this really unique but this is how we celebrate in my family.  

We don't eat in our house, we don't sweep the floor, we keep everything clean, we eat fish, green veggie, we talk about things that we need improving, we find out our prediction of the next year.  haha, it's kinda lame.
