I would really like to buy a horse (Quarter horse) 3 to 5 years old Geilding. For Calf Roping do you know where I could look within Washington.

Go to ropings and seek out the best , ask them or if it is your first horse stay away from the net

get a trainer to help you

You can look at some online sites (ex. equine.com, dreamhorse.com).  However, I think it would be better to go look at a tack or feed store, ask some respectable trainers if they know of any good horses for sale, or go to a horse show and look around (a lot of people try to sell their horses at shows).

there are loads of internet sites.. northernhorse.com I think is one and horsetopia.... cant remember all the others.

the aqha website has a classifieds section where you can search for horses based on discipline or state or whatever you want.  Go to www.aqha.com and to classifieds and search for quarter horses in Washington within your age range for calf roping.
