I've currently accidently pulled a Judgement Dragon so I've decided to make a Lightsworn Deck. I've got most of the cards required to do so, so any deck suggestions are welcomed. Please post your idea of the best Lightsworn deck possible. Best deck gets best Answer. Thanks

  1. Here's a tip or two...

Lightsworns are a series of monsters that are specifically designed to mill your own deck, but they have one of the best support cards ever: Judgment Dragon, with low special summoning conditions (having 4 or more Lightlord monsters with different names in your graveyard), and a devastating effect(pay 1000 life points to destroy all cards on the field except this card) and another good point for this card is that it is not limited yet so you can easily win a duel if you have 2 or more Judgment Dragon in your hand, since you do not remove the monsters from your graveyard you can still special summon other two dragons in that turn.

The other two ace cards from that deck are Cherubim, Lightsworn Angel and Gragonith, Lightsworn Dragon. Angel Cherubim is better than any other monarch because when she is tribute summoned with a lightsworn monster you can discard 4 cards from the top of your deck in order to destroy up to 2 cards that your opponent controls.

Gragonith, Lightsworn Dragon has 2000 ATK points and requires 1 tribute to be summoned, but gains 300 ATK points for each Lighsworn in your graveyard, so he often gets in to the field with 4000 or more ATK points, but that is not all he also has Piercing effect, that is not all, in all your end phases he will discard 3 cards from the top of your deck to the graveyard, gaining more ATK each turn.

Card Trooper will also help this deck in discarding your deck and still getting stronger with his effect. If you have Gragonith, Lightsworn Dragon on the field, he will be getting stronger as well. Also when Card Trooper is destroyed in any way, and sent to the graveyard, you still get to draw 1 card.

Talking about Spell support there is "Solar Exchange" that is a Normal Spell Card that allows you to discard 1 Lightsworn monster from your hand to the graveyard then you draw 2 cards and finally you discard the 2 cards from the top of your deck to the graveyard.

Also, a good card to use with the Lightsworns is Blasting the Ruins, since you will be able to fill your graveyard quickly by the Lightsworns effect.

You may think that you are milling your deck quickly, so you are going to make a 50-card deck. NEVER. 40 cards for this deck is more than enough. Thie key card of this deck is Judgment Dragon, so you want to pull it out as quickly as possible. You have to use your Lightsworn monsters to mill your Judgment Dragons from your deck to your Graveyard. Then pick the Dragons up by Beckoning Light, Monster Reincarnation and Herald of Creation.

  3. im not sure whats a Lightsworn deck is but sounds like a warriors deck? if it is you should definitely put in "buster blader" i have it and he kick ***

  4. watch out for 'remove from play' decks, xD

although, when you think about it, if you made this and fused it WITH an out of play deck, it could probably work pretty well. well, you have time, try different things.

a real tip from me is to play with a deck you like instead of one you see on the internet that just so happens to win. because the only way someone could have really created a deck that wins alot is through many 'dueling trials' and editing until its the way they like it. so what I'm saying is try making the deck yourself and duel some one in a full match. in that match pay attention to what your deck is lacking and improve it by slightly changing your strategy.

pure decks usually don't work anymore though, like pure crystal beast decks, pure gladiator beast decks, etc. you need to add in some customization and imagination. like for your lightsworndeck, I'd add in 3 reckless greeds so you dont draw as many times and get cards faster than usualy rather than losing and finding out your VERY NEXT CARD could have saved you...

i guess thats all from me... yeah xD

  5. LS decks are ****, seriously, people, how bad do you have to be at yugimonz not to see it?

the build either needs to be built too big and inconsistent, or normal sized (40) and unstably fast, either way, you lose (deck out in 3 turns, or deck out in 2 turns after making one flashy move)

but for the record, judge IS NOT DAD, you cannot run less than 3 of them.
