Yugioh Barcode trick? Does it work?

Question

The trick where you look at the last 4 numbers of the booster packs barcode to see if it's different, does it work? In finding super rare, ultra rare and scret rare cards in all the booster packs?

The code you saw is actually just a ID number for every item made or packaged in a factory.  Every package has a different ID code to it, there are no questions.  What you saw is probably the store sales code which is in white and black.  Those codes are some same some different because store's price reader machine needs a specific code for it to know what the product it is.

I have a friend that I swear to you has this miraculous gift for picking up holos. I've been with him 7 times when he buys packs and let me tell you, he doesn't even scale or touch the packs. He just closes his eyes and chooses ramdomly. Well from all the packs I've seen him buy he's pulled nothing but holos. He always asks the clerks if he could choose ramdomly from packs and he always gets luck. Now with Light of Destruction he's pulled nothing but holo Lightsworn monsters. Man what luck he has. I've tried to replicate him and this one time I bought 4 packs and got only regular rares on all of them. Wadafux!

Ok the bar code trick does not work, that's just wrong. But if you found a place that lets you pick up the packs and look at them before you buy them there's much more realistic and easy ways to pack Ultras and secrets. The material Upperdeck uses to make the card holo is much more stiff and a little heavier then the rares. So if you just grab a pack that feels more stiff and dense then it's a keeper. I used to but now real card vender's know all the tricks and pick the packs themselves some even weigh the packs and keep the heavier ones to get the secret rares to sell individually.

No this isn't true, but how I wish it was, I think the "shiny" cards are randomly distributed and packaged accordingly, but you never know if looking at the barcode works for you maybe you should keep doing it and giving all your secret rares to me :D
