Yugioh card?

Question

I just opened a tactical evolution pack and i found a card called il blud and it's a zombie/gemini monster.what's gemini?i never saw a card with that i've seen monster/effect,monster/toon.monster/unio...

but i think this card has to be very rare i've never seen gemini someone explain this to me

Consider yourself VERY lucky, Il Blud is next to impossible to pull out of a TAEV pack, second only to Vennominaga. A single Il Blud goes for about $120+ on most sites.

Gemini's are actually sort of like toon or union monsters. They are treated as normal monsters while on the field or in the graveyard.

Gemini monsters have a special property that allow themselves to be '2nd summoned' thus granting them the effect listed in their card text.

Gemini monsters were first released in the Tactical Evolution booster pack, and span out through all boosters that followed it. (Gladiator's Assault, Phantom Darkness and Light of Destruction are the most recent.)

Il Blud itself is very powerful when combined with Goblin Zombie and Zombie Master in a zombie deck. Again, it's a very rare, very expensive card and you should count yourself look to have pulled one. Congrats.

gemini is a new effect type, introduced in TAEV, and if you look, a lot of the monsters in that set are gemini

in specific, il blud is going for $90, so enjoy it

that's a highly sought after card (il blud, not the gemini monsters)

geminis are treated as normal monsters on your field and graveyard. then you can use up a normal summon to make it an effect monster and activate its effect. no tribute is required to activate the effects of high level geminis. cards like double summon and ultimate offering are support for geminis

so for il blud, you can skip making a normal summon and "summon" il blud, bu instead of being treated as a normal monster, it becomes an effect monster. you can use the effect printed next to the bullet, which would be summoning a zombie from either player's graveyard. if it were removed from the field, the zombies summoned by its effect are destroyed. an easy way of making good use of its effect is with pyramid turtle. even though you use up a normal summon, you can summon a zombie from your graveyard, which would probably be the pyramid turtle destroyed by battle to summon it)

Wow, Il Blud, Your really luck to have pulled that card, you should make a zombie deck you would own with that card. I use to use zombie, it was pretty good but i never had that card. I think its like the rarest card in that pack. Anways, gemini meens you have to somon that monster a seccond time to get it effect. So the first time you summon it, it's treated as a normal monster, but the seccond time you summon it, it's an effect  monster and it gets the effect on the card.

A gemini monster is a monster where you can summon it two times.  The first time you summon it, it's treated as a normal monster.  The second time you summon it it's effect is activated.  Il Blud is a pretty powerful monster, and it can be useful if you build a zombie deck around it.
