The French legend will be coaching Real Madrid’s youth team and will be training to earn a coaching badge during the process.
The director of football for Real Madrid, Zinedine Zidane, has now started training for his coaching badge. Real Madrid’s official website confirmed that he will be coaching their youth team during the time he is completing his management qualification.
A statement on the club’s official website read that Zidane will soon get a coaching badge and Madrid will help him by putting him in charge of the Real Madrid youth team.
Zidane’s return to football as a manager will definitely come as a good news for many footballing fans. The legendary French footballer has done a lot for the beautiful game while he graced the pitch, and there are a lot of expectations attached to him as
a manager.
The former French footballer rose to fame while playing for his national team. Zidane was the player who helped his side win the FIFA World Cup 98 and even though they were knocked out early in the next edition of the prestigious tournament, the French legend
made a comeback in 2006.
During the FIFA World Cup which took place in 2006, Zidane showed the world that he is one of the best players in the history of football.
The French star almost singlehandedly took his side to the final of the international competition.
