Zinnia Problem?

I'm having a problem with my zinnias.

Small 1 cm brown striped worms are eating the centre of the flowers. They leave a brown residue that has a resemblance to dirt and also attack the buds before they open.

Suggestions for removing them would be appreciated!

spray the flowers with soapy water or a cayenne pepper water mix ...these are organic approaches instea dof using pesticides...also, pick off all the affected buds so it doesnt spread to the healthy flowers
