Real Zaragoza midfielder, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Franco-Zuculini-c14076, has stated that his side will not get ahead of themselves after their fine start to this season’s La Liga campaign.
Zuculini believes that his team-mates will keep their eyes on the ball and never take things for granted. The midfielder was particularly pleased with the fact that he scored his first goal for the club in the 2-0 victory against Rayo Vallecano on Monday.
The defensive-midfielder is urging his team-mates to show humility and keep their feet on the ground. He does not want them to get carried away and think they have done enough.
“We must keep our feet on the ground,” he told AS. “We must look down, not up.”
“We cannot get up in the clouds and relax. We must continue to give 100 per cent and when we do that, the results will come.”
Moreover, the youngster knows how his team must work hard in order to continue their momentum. The 22-year-old is surely suggesting the power of positivity to his team-mates.
“We have to work hard and be optimistic as well,” he explained.
Meanwhile, Zuculini remarked on the goal he scored against Rayo Vallecano. He also admitted that he was eager to score his first goal.
“I was delighted with the goal,” he said. “I have been after that for a long time. I felt confident in the position I was playing and the goal just came.”
Finally, the youngster commented on his performance during the match and said that there have been other matches in which he performed better. Regardless, he admitted the goal gave him great confidence.
“There have been other games where I think I've played better, but the goal gives me confidence,” he admitted.
Zaragoza are currently sitting on the 12th position in the table after winning six out of their opening 15 matches in the Primera Division.
Next match in La Liga, Real Zaragoza will host Levante at La Romareda stadium on this weekend.
