"Pimple" won't stop bleeding?

Question

My dad picked a "pimple" on his forearm and it's been bleeding for 9 hours. What could be wrong?

See his doctor if it doesn't stop. Perhaps he has knocked it since picking it.

Put a bit of pressure on it for 5 minutes. Well I guess he could be a poor clotter or he might have thrombocytopoenia ( low platelets). Is he on warfarin or aspirin ?

he wont leave it alone long  enough for a scab to form.  Blood naturally coagulates, this is how a scab forms.  If it is not doing this and the blood is just continually running out of him he may need to go to the doctor bc this means that he is hemorrhaging.
