"carrier notification made"?

so i ordered a couple of shirts online from charlotte russe and it said they were shipped thursday. then i went to track the package at fedex and it said "carrier notification made." the package is in kentucky, apparently, which i believe is where it was supposed to be shipped from. the status hasn't changed in the past 24 hrs.

technically the product has shipped and the company can now charge your credit card. the carrier was notified but they have not yet picked it up
