"You said you could never see me heart broken, so when you broke my heart, did you close your eyes?"

Have you ever heard this before? I think its really deep and extremly poetic. I think my friend made it up(unless she got it from somewhere). But either...could this have a double meaning?

  1. Well; I did do some research on the net and I can't seem to find out who wrote that saying.  So maybe your friend did make it up or not entirely but just re worded it which is nice it sounds poetic.  But then again I didnt look for a long time and everything is not on the net!!!

I think the meaning could mean that the person who said they wouldn't break "her/his" heart did and didnt realize it.

also think it could mean that when the person broke "his/her" heart they did it on perpose but or so "she/he" thinks and that is why "she/he" asks "did you close your eyes" basically you did it on perpose but did you close your eyes to make it seem alright....

anyway nice saying just too bad because it is heart breaking
