  1. It means that, were I in a isolated dungeon, and I got a message that someone remembered me, then I would cling to the hope that  they would rescue me.

    If I thought that I had been completely forgotten, then the decline to despair would be hard to resist.


  2. The history of the "Jewish" people is filled with suffering and glory. Be worthy of that history, citizens of "Israel." And face the recent past which is also yours. To forget is to choose dishonor. Honor without memory is inconceivable.

    Being remembered by those alive people to those who passed away is a great help most especially of they were victims of heinous crime that still waiting for justice.
