WHATS THE DIFFERENTS BETWEEN PLAYING SINGLES AND DOUBLES?

  2. I assume you are speaking of tennis? In singles there is one person on each side playing against the other and the lines that are considered in for the ball are the outer lines. In doubles, there are two people on each side and one plays towards the net and the other farther back. The lines that are in are the inner lines.

    No matter what the game.....singles means one on each side playing against each other and in doubles it is two on each side.

  3. Do you mean in tennis?

    The difference is that in singles you play as one person against another, whereas in doubles you play as a team of two against another team of two.  The area you play in in doubles is also slightly larger.
