    well if you consider that your moving your jaw and digestive muscles then yeah but its not like your gona get fit by just eating celery

    What makes food like this fattening is the peanut butter, cheese whiz, or other high-calorie &quot;flavourant&quot; placed into the &quot;bowl&quot; of the near tasteless celery, or that the stalk is dipped into.

    Eat it plain and you&#039;ll burn extra calories.

    Do NOT eat the leaves, and do NOT think that by eating ten stalks of celery you can make-up for dietary sins. You can&#039;t.

Celery is a neutral food and it does burn more calories to chew and digest it than it actually has.  But it is not so many that it would cause a dramatic weight drop.   If this is all you decide to eat you would become vitamin deficient and malnourished but this could take a VERY VERY long time.

    Celery is not the only negative-calorie food out there. If prepared correctly,cauliflower, cucumbers, spinach, and many others can cause your body to burn more calories than you ingest.

    This means not adding cheese or other sauces..
