  2. Sounds fine to me.

  3. If you're writing fiction, I think it's too short a name. You should add a syllable or two somewhere in there. Katherine Lynch sounds a whole lot better, for example, and you can still refer to her as Kate on instances where her full name isn't required.

  4. Kate Sinclare flows better. Kate and Lynch both have one syllable, sounds a bit choppy.

    Besides that, I don't believe in taking on your husband's name upon marriage. Women either bear their father's, grandfather's great-great-grandfather's or husband's name. It's gotta stop at some point.

  6. Love her maiden name. Lynch isn't awful but I do think that Sinclare is a way nicer last name. If they're willing to consider to combine Lynch-Sinclare sounds really good! If not, then tell her to go with what she wants because no matter what it sounds pretty good.

    My half-sister-in-law's maiden surname was Verikion - She hated it, her name is Michelle. She married Adam Deshel.

    Her name is now Michelle Deshel.

    I still, do not know why she changed it.

    But if LYNCH is being the middle name, its not that good.

  14. I think she should keep her maiden name or use both names, like a double barrel. eg. sinclare-lynch

    Kate Lynch only have one syllable per name and sound too snappy and abrupt.
