: ( why my gerbil die???

Question

this was a year ago, but i still dont understand why she died. here are the symptoms...couldn't open her eyes,looked larger, verrryyyy lathargic, breathed very quickly, swayed when walking. after a while she didnt walk at all, she just laid there. she was still breathing. she had a companion at the time (her sister). i called the petstore and asked what was happening and they said she had paralasis (?) she was like this from like 11am to 4pm. i woke up at like 11ish and checked on them and found her with all those symptoms and her sister was cuddling and looked sad. she died at 4pm ish

i just feel like theres more to just paralasis. what do you think happened?

The fact that she was larger and very lethargic suggests her heart was giving out.
