Question:

Registry repair question?

I have Free Windows Registry Repair l.5 and Eusing Free Registry Cleaner and CCleaner downloaded. My question is: I can run CCleaner registry scan and 9 out of 10 times it finds no problems, then I turn around and run Free Windows and it finds quite a few problems, then I run Eusing and it finds even more. If one can't find them all and repair etc., then what is the use of having them to begin with? Is it because they are "free" and just don't do the job as well?

  1. Different programs from different companies scan for different kinds of errors. Some you can set what to scan for and some you can't,most of the free ones you can't though.

  2. Well, CCleaner, is the best registry cleaner out there, paid or free, CCleaner is the best.

Here's why some programs find different registeries. Do you notice why sometimes there is a button like "Back Up Registry" or something like that? That's because if you clean your registry and the program accidently deletes a registry key that your computer uses, you could really mess up your computer.

CCleaner only finds useless registries, wasting space on your computer. Most other programs, find registry keys they "think" is invalid and useless, and if it's the wrong one, bam, your computer is messed.

I recommend you uninstall every other registry cleaner other than CCleaner, before you wreck your computer.

The only other cleaner that comes close to CCleaner is called Advanced Windows Care. Sometimes, Advanced Windows Care finds registry keys that CCleaner doesn't find. With these two registry cleaners, you will NEVER have any problems with your registry.

Here you can download Advanced Windows Care safe and free:

    http://www.download.com/Advanced-Windows...

These two are the top free registry/computer cleaners ever, and just because they are free doesn't mean they stink, a lot of people use these, even me.

Just stick with CCleaner and Advanced Windows Care!

    You're welcome! :D
