Question:

Regular healthy sleeping hours...help please

I can't seem to keep them no matter what.

I always end up sleeping odd hours..

For example, I try to sleep by 1am because i need to be up by 730.

Throughout the week, I end up sleeping later and later until by friday i end up sleeping at 5 in the morning. Just lay there tossing and turning trying to sleep....

How do people reset their sleep schedules, and keep them?

  1. I have a hard time falling asleep myself.

    The best thing I was luky enough to learn is mindfullness.( It's similar to meditation.) Basically it's about concentrating on only one thing! It wont be easy at first cause your mind will jump on other stuff (like your grocerie list, or things you did in the day, or have to do the next day...) but when that happens, just go back to concentrating on that one thing you decided as your focal point (it can be the sound of a fan, or a candle, or your breathing....) For example, I will take in a deep breath (filling up not only my lungs but my tummy as well...) and then I let the air go out slowly. I'll concentrate on my breathing by counting every breath that goes in and out and,next thing you know...I'm asleep!! Like every thing, practice makes perfect!! I hope this will be of help...

  3. you can get medicen to help id ask your chemist or gp..

    or you can just later every day till you get back to the right time eg 4am till 12pm.. 6am till 2pm.. ect..

  4. Well you might have signs of insomnia.You need to be as active as you can in the day so that at night,you'll be really tired.Pray to GOD about this.GOD is the only one who can handle this.GOD BLESS!
