Question:

Regular water and flavored water?

i've been trying to drink healthier fluids. So i gave up soda and now i'm drinking water but i like to drink flavored more than regular. I drink a bottled water called aquafina and it's grape flavored. I wanted to drink more water to help me lose weight. Is there a differnece?

  1. crystal light might be a good indulgance! 5 to 10 calories a packet. if you make it ice cold, your body will burn off those calories anyways to maintain homeostasis and warm the water :)


  2. Yes- anything added to the water is more for your body to process, which increases the inflammatory response, which is bad.  You don't need anything added to the water.  If you need another type of drink, try brewing herbal "tea" and adding ice cubes- but no sugar.

  5. Flavored water is different.  Look at the bottle & see what it says.

    Try regular water with slices of lemon, lime, or orange...it's very helpful & will help you lose weight.

    To lose weight...take your weight divide in 1/2 & that's how many ounces of water you ought to drink/day.

  6. Yeah there is a difference. But flavored water is way better for you than soda. so if you wanna flavor your water than go ahead.. Just put some regular water sometimes too. lol.
