  1. Go play a few rounds and you'll see that different courses have different sizes and different shapes. There might be a minimum or maximum...I have no idea. Contact the PGA or a local club; they might know what regulations, if any, exist.

  2. There is no "regulation" size for a green, or tee box, or fairway...or bunker.  Or clubhouse.  Or putting green.  Or parking lot.

  3. It stands to reason that every piece of land has a different topography and it would be impossible to make all greens the same size. Some are oblong and tucked into corners of the property lengthwise. Other oblong greens are perpendicular to the fairway due to being at the edge of the property. Many courses have large greens because the architect preferred large greens. Other courses have small greens due to limited space or because they are old courses. Since all green mowing was once done with hand mowers, the older courses had smaller greens as a rule.

  4. The green what?........jacket?

  5. To my knowledge, there is no set size for greens. However, you might track down the website for the PGA. They would be the most authoritative source on questions of this sort. Or, just call your local golf course and ask them.

  6. Are you sure she wants the regulation size of the *green*? Maybe she asked for the regulation size for the cup/hole?

  7. Green sizes vary from course to course.  They are usually dependent upon the weather conditions of the area in which the course is built.  The courses in Hawaii (Kapalua) where they play on the Plantation Course at the beginning of the year, those greens are huge.  That is because of the wind they are faced with on a day to day basis.  A typical green on the PGA tour would likely run about 2800-3500 sf.

  8. any size they wanna make em
