How long and at what temperature should I reheat my corned beef and cabbage in a conventional oven?

  1. Anywhere in the 350 to 400 range would be fine - should take about 15 to 20 minutes if it's at refrigerator temperatures when you start, slightly less if it's at room temperature.  Check it every once in a while after about 10 minutes to see how it's coming along.  Be sure to cover it with aluminum foil or a glass (ovenproof) lid when it goes in the over or else it'll dry out and possibly start to brown.


  2. 20 minutes at 150C would be enough covered, otherwise it will dry out.

    I would suggest plating-up and nuking, it is faster, and easier to monitor.

  3. Pretty much anything will reheat at 350 for about 20 minutes.  If it's something like corned beef and cabbage, which you don't want to dry out, reheat it covered.  for something crusty, reheat it covered half the time and uncovered at the end.

  4. To be on the safe side (because I don'tt know if you have a gas or electric oven) I would suggest reheating on 325 for approx. 15-20 minutes depending on the serving size. BonAppetitee!
