The Hertha Berlin manager has insisted that his side can avoid relegation this season despite the weekend defeat against Wolfsburg.
Otto Rehhagel has claimed that Hertha Berlin are still can still avoid going down into the 2.Bundesliga at the end of the season. He insisted that the team needs one or two good results in the remaining games of the ongoing season,
to stay in the first division.
The manager claimed that his team can turn things around in the last six games of the season and is looking forward to the next fixture against Borussia Monchengladbach at the Borussia Park.
The boss expressed his disappointment on the home loss to Wolfsburg at the weekend and admitted that the team performed poorly in the game. He added that Berlin had a great chance to secure a win in front of the home fans but the
players failed to take their chances.
Rehhagel added that there is also a chance of the capital club being relegated if the current form continues. The tactician called for instant improvement in the remaining course of the season to make sure the club continues to
play in the Bundesliga.
“We thought that we had turned things around, but we are not that far away either. Of course we lose a bit of self-confidence because of this. You could see that when we had one-on-one situations, but failed to score from two yards
out,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.

“And if you don't score goals, you can't win games. Everybody is very disappointed because the margin of defeat is too high, in truth. We beat ourselves, we wasted great chances,” he concluded.
