http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Pepe-Reina-c29672 has admitted that he shares a great relation with manager Brendan Rodgers and claims that he is impressed with the way the team has been performing this season. The player stated that his side has been very unlucky in
some games this season and is hopeful that the players find their true form in the remaining games this season.
The goalkeeper added that the manager has some great ideas and praised his support for young players throughout the course of the campaign. He is pleased with the way the tactician has managed this season and hailed his tactics.
“I have a great relationship with him. We have a lot of ideas in common and the way we see football is quite similar. Our understanding about tactics and feeling for football is very similar. I'm very happy with our manager,” he
was quoted as saying in an interview.
Reina admitted that he has not been in the best form this campaign and is working hard to getting back to his best in the upcoming games. He stated that there have been problems with him and is keen to improve in training by working
really hard.
The player is happy with the new style of play and loves the amount of passes the players make throughout a game. He admitted that the new style has suited many of the players at the club and is hopeful that the results begin to
show.
“There is no doubt that I am more involved with my feet than before, but so is the whole team. The amount of passes in every game is higher and higher compared to last season. It's a different style and I am happy with it,” he
concluded.
Liverpool are currently in eighth place with 39 points on the Premier League standings table with 11 games to go until the season ends. They will be hopeful to land a place in Europe but face tough competition.
