The German League Association president claimed that it is a step in the right direction after FIFA announced approved to implement the use of technology.
FIFA President, Sepp Blatter, admitted that the use of technology is a must after the European championships. The governing body approved the use of Hawk-Eye technology, which is widely used in other sports such as Tennis and Cricket,
to minimize error.

Rauball has welcomed FIFA’s decision to use technology in the game. He insisted that the decision was long overdue as many teams have suffered through decisions from referees. He is delighted that the new technology will be tested
at the Club World Cup later this year and is confident that it would derive successful results.
The president is targeting the use of goal-line technology in the Bundesliga in the 2013-14 season which will be great for the league.
“It's a step in the right direction which was long overdue. The new test at the Club World Cup makes a lot of sense. Making a decision that would have had an instantaneous effect on the upcoming season was never expected. The League
Association will immediately deal with the implementation of goal-line technology in regard to the 2013/14 season,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
The system is expected to be implemented all across Europe in the 2013-14 season when FIFA tests it in the 2012 Club World Cup in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Michel-c25453 Platini is however, against the use of goal-line
technology and has warned FIFA and the Premier League against it.
