Valery Reinhold has urged that Russian Premier League club to appoint Dynamo Kyiv’s Yuri Semin as their new manager after a disappointing 2-0 defeat against CSKA Moscow
Former Spartak Moscow player, Valery Reinhold, has fired a barb at Spartak’s Unai Emery after the Spanish tactician failed to deliver the desired results since completing a move from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Valencia-c40863 this summer.
The under fire manager finds himself at the centre of criticism again after failing to help the Moscow-based club in winning the opening two group stage games in the UEFA Champions League against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/FC-Barcelona-c39078 and Celtic FC
respectively.
Emery, who promised the Red-whites fans of bringing the glory days back to Moscow within no time after signing a three-year contract at Luzhniki stadium, has also been criticized for underachieving results despite signing
desired candidates during the summer transfer window.
The 40-year-old, who made a sound reputation of an experienced European manager after helping his former club in reaching the later stages of the continental tournament, signed http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Vedran-Corluka-c35947, Romulo, Juan Insaurralde and
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Boca-Juniors-c38658 and Olympic Lyonnais respectively.
With all the changes made and money spent by the former Real Sociedad man during his stay at the Moscow-based club, the Spartachi have failed to meet the expectations as they are at the 7th spot on
the league table at the moment.
And while Spartak’s Valery Karpin has backed the Spanish manager to carry on, Reinhold has pleaded the club’s general director to give it a second thought before making a final decision regarding Emery’s future.
“It is already evident that the red-and-white are struggling. It looks like they have no ambition and no desire to win. The team did not learn after their defeat against Celtic and made similar defensive mistakes in the league
game against CSKA Moscow.” The 70-year-old was quoted as saying.
Reinhold went on to suggest his former club to sign Dynamo Kyiv head coach, Yuri Semin, saying that the 65-year-old manager has a vast experience of coaching teams in the Russian championship.
Semin added noticeable accomplishments against his name during his Russian adventures, winning the Russian Cup, Russian Super Cup and two league titles at Lokomotiv Moscow.
